Healed from Breast Cancer
A Testimony That Calls Many Back to Faith
Seeing God Move in Our Midst: Faith, the Church, and the Glory of Jesus
Every single day, I am deeply aware of what God is doing and what He intends to do in our lives as a church. More than ever, I am convinced that to fully experience the flow of God’s agenda in these last days, we must be committed to His church.
The church is not an afterthought; it is God’s strategy. Jesus is the Head of the Church, and everything He intends to do in these last days will be expressed through His body. When you are rightly aligned, submitted to godly authority and walking in one Spirit with the Lord, you carry spiritual authority. Scripture makes it clear: when we are submitted to God, the enemy has no choice but to respond (James 4:7).
This truth became very real to me just last week.
A colleague casually mentioned that her spouse had been diagnosed with both bowel cancer and breast cancer, and that the medical reports were not encouraging. As she spoke, compassion rose strongly in my heart. We had never shared such a personal moment before. She said she needed to be strong for her partner during what she described as a very difficult season.
I felt led to pray, but I hesitated. She had never attended any church, and in fact, she believed God had lost control of the world because of all the chaos around us. Still, I gently asked, “Can I pray for you?”
Her response surprised me. She said, “Yes. I’m open to any solution I can get.”
So I prayed simply. I asked God to prove Himself in her family and for her partner to come out clean. Then, with faith, I said to her, “You will come back and tell me the result was good.”
It wasn’t a long or complicated prayer, but I knew the God I was speaking to, the One who can turn anything around.
Yesterday, she came back to me and said, “Do you remember our discussion?”
At that moment, it hit me, I had prayed for her.
She went on to explain that they had gone for a review and more tests were done and there was no trace of breast cancer. I literally fell to the floor and worshipped Jesus. She said the doctor was confused and asked them to see a consultant before raising any hopes. They did and the consultant confirmed it: he was clean of breast cancer.
Then she said something that moved me deeply. She said, “I thought about you in that moment and remembered you prayed.”
I immediately responded, “No, not me. I just believe in Someone who can do it, and I asked Him to do it for you.”
I then asked about the bowel cancer, and she said they were going for another review. So I asked her plainly, “If Jesus heals him completely, will you serve Him?”
Her answer was simple and sincere: “Yes.”
This is why I am sharing this testimony.
One of the major ways God is drawing His children back to Himself in this season is through what we can call prophetic evangelism, the tangible manifestation of His power in everyday spaces. God is using ordinary believers who are conscious of His presence and bold enough to reveal His name.
Acts 2:17–19 (NIV) declares:
“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below.”
This is not symbolic language, it is literal. God is actively displaying His power so that hearts can be turned back to Him. He wants His people to be the light that shines brightest when darkness seems overwhelming.
Jesus Himself said in Matthew 5:14–16 (NIV):
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden… Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Notice this: when God manifests His power, the glory does not go to us, it goes back to Him. And because God will never bring shame to His own name, He always proves Himself when we dare to bring Him into the situation.
Many people around us; neighbors, colleagues, friends, even family members are in captivity not because God is absent, but because His name is rarely declared. Fear, hesitation, and concern about rejection often silence us. Yet Scripture reminds us in Romans 10:13–14 that people cannot believe in the One they have not heard about.
When we proclaim His name, the result will always reveal who is truly in control.
This week, my assignment is simple: to remind you that we will see more manifestations of God’s power in our everyday spaces the moment we boldly proclaim His name. Not only in church settings, but in offices, homes, hospitals, and conversations that seem ordinary, until God steps in.
God said in Isaiah 49:3 (LSB):
“You are My Servant… in whom I will show forth My beautiful glory.”
We are living in a season of His glory. The question is not whether God is willing, the question is whether we are willing to step into it.
Remember this: it has always been about Jesus and His glory. When He is lifted up, lives are changed, faith is awakened, and many are drawn back to Him.
If this testimony stirred your faith, share it boldly, not casually, but prayerfully. Let faith rise as you share. Someone connected to you needs to hear this.
Subscribe, leave us a comment, and testify to what God is doing or what you are trusting Him to do.
Also, don’t miss last week’s post:
Go back and read it again with fresh expectation. God has been speaking consistently, and every word is a building block for what He is revealing in this season.
We are in the flow.
We are in the season.
And above all, it is about Jesus and His glory.
